RALEIGH, IN, June 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) Raleigh based Internet Marketing and Web Design Firm, TriMark Solutions, is proud to announce that TriMark sponsored Nationwide Tour player, Elliot Gealy, will be competing in the 111th U.S. Open Championship. The tournament will take place on June 13-19 at the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, MD.
Gealy, a 1999 graduate from Clemson University, was the 2004 NGA Hooter's Tour Champion and highest earning winner. After taking a three-year break from competitive golf to study and teach the game, both in the United States and Korea, he successfully accomplished his goal of earning his 2011 PGA Tour Card via PGA Tour Qualifying School in December of 2010. Most recently, Gealy tied for 18th at the Stadion Classic at the University of Georgia in Athens, Ga., and posted 3 top 25 finishes on the Nationwide Tour this season. Gealy is currently 52nd out of 192 on the earnings list, with the top 25 automatically earning their 2012 PGA Tour exempt status. This will be his first time participating in the U.S. Open.
When asked about his sponsorship from TriMark Gealy stated, "I am blessed to have the support from TriMark and its people and very appreciative of their financial support. Without sponsors such as TriMark Solutions, who go above and beyond, it would be nearly impossible for me to compete and work towards my professional goals and objectives. It's exciting to share in this grand experience with TriMark and I intend to play hard for them next week and throughout the remainder of the season."
"The TriMark team is proud to add its support to such a skilled pro golfer like Elliot Gealy," said Randy Goins, president of TriMark Solutions. "We admire Elliot's sportsmanship and talent, both on and off the golf course, and are excited about this partnership as part of TriMark's ongoing involvement in professional sports."
Gealy will continue his pursuit of his 2012 PGA Tour throughout the summer with tournament stops in Maineville, Ohio, Sandy, Utah, Omaha, Neb, Kansas City, Mo and 8 additional cities throughout the United States.
