BARCELONA, SPAIN, June 14, 2011 (Press-News.org) Puerto Rican pop star Ricky Martin is set to play live in Barcelona later this month.
The chart-topping singer will perform at the Sant Jordi Club on Wednesday June 29th, giving Spanish fans a chance to hear new material and songs from his extensive back catalogue of hits.
Martin released his ninth studio album, Musica + Alma + Sexo, in January this year.
The record features tracks performed in both Spanish and English, as well as collaborations with Joss Stone and Natalia Jimenez.
Martin devotees will no doubt be hoping to hear some of those tracks, as well as classic hits such as She Bangs, Nobody Wants to Be Lonely and Livin' la Vida Loca, when he takes to the stage in Barcelona.
It was the latter song that catapulted him to global fame in 1999, topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic and becoming his signature tune.
Tickets for Martin's show in Barcelona are available to purchase online, priced between EUR55.63 and EUR67.78 (GBP49.50 and GBP60.30).
