Mase Steadily Climbing Up Indie Radio Charts with New Single "Like This"

Hip-hop music producer Mase scores a new hit on indie radio charts with his latest single "Like This".

2011-06-15
MIAMI, FL, June 15, 2011 (Press-News.org) "Like This," by indie music producer and hip-hop recording artist Mase, is on a steady uphill climb in the Urban Indie Charts. At the end of 2011, "Like This" has entered the nationwide top ten Urban Indie Charts, charting at #8; while slowly but surely figuring at #29 in the nationwide Rhythmic Indie Charts.

Mediabase, the reputable radio monitoring service that publishes charts and counts down frequently played songs on the radio, and is said to be the prime source for radio plays and chart data for Ryan Seacrest's American Top 40, has posted this recent radio milestones for "Like This".

Mase is one of the prime hip-hop indie producers and owns the music label DMS Entertainment. His rather accidental and reluctant entry as a recording artist started out with the recording of "We Miss You", a tribute song for his late father. The song amassed positive feedback from hip-hop fans on the Internet. With this, Mase was encouraged to take a step forward and follow his true calling - be a hip-hop artist himself. As a teenager growing up and educated in various parts of the globe - Africa, Europe, and America, Mase looked-up to hip hop great Snoop. Now that he is a recording artist himself, Mase unleashed the beats and grooves from within to produce a club-thumpin' party anthem entitled "Like This". "What I bring to the audience is something they can relate to. ... I did a song that's my new single "Like this". It's a party song, everybody goes to a friend, everybody goes to a club.. that's what I do and the stuff that I bring to my audience", says Mase.

And where does Mase get the pulse of his audience? He attributes it to his position as an indie artist and an indie label. "As far as the music industry, it's just like just being me. I'm not signed to a major, I'm not in a box. I just have my own freedom and I do whatever I want.", Mase enthuses. "I'm producing my own album, finishing my album right now.", Mase continues. Yes, "Like This" is just the beginning of bigger and better beats to come.

"Like This" is now available for digital download via iTunes and other online music portals.
