LAKE FOREST, CA, June 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) On Saturday, June 11th, Oxygen4Energy Athlete Lerone Clarke from Jamaica ran a 9.90 sec 100m sprint beating out Justin Gatlin by .07 seconds at the Star Athletics Invitational in Florida.
According to Clarke's coach, Coach Malcolm, "Lerone has been training really hard this season and seems to be peaking at the right time. With Jamaica having so many great sprinters, earning a spot on the World Championship team would a great accomplishment. I believe he is up for the challenge."
This time beat Clarke's Personal Best by .09 seconds and puts him among the fastest times in the World for 2011.
