i heart fitness is excited to announce the opening of their first Pilates studio located in the heart of Studio City (11440 Ventura Blvd). i heart fitness encourages guests to change up your routine, diversify their fitness workout and help achieve and maintain a healthy physique offering: dramatic weight loss, visible muscle definition, improved strength, endurance, flexibility and a whole new level of energy. The i heart fitness mantra and core method is rooted in traditional Pilates, although traditional Pilates is often perceived as being a slow-paced routine that's specifically built for women and/or dancers, and is often very expensive - none of that is true at i heart fitness. The studio utilizes many of the principles and tools of Pilates but blended with a fast tempo and high energy to provide an unmatched workout appropriate for both men and women who are serious about getting in amazing shape. Each class moves fluidly from the Fitformer (bamboo/titanium reformers), to the mat, to the barre to the springboard, with the transitions of a ballet and the physical intensity of a boxing ring.
