Summer Family Fun at Stone Oak Youth Theatre

Theatre Announces Summer Show Schedule

SAN ANTONIO, TX, June 20, 2011 (Press-News.org) Stone Oak Youth Theatre & Dance company (SOYT) announced their summer family theatre schedule. From "The Little Mermaid" to "The Three Little Pigs", and from a murder mystery to a magical musical, there is truly something for all ages, from the very small to the very tall.

"The Three Little Pigs"
Everyone's favorite classic tale of the three little pigs and the big bad wolf, only with a twist. This time around, the pigs are in a family band called "The Bacon Bits" and the wolf is a record label executive who can only sign a solo act. Come see this show and find out if this wolf will be able to huff and puff and break this family down?

"The Little Mermaid"
This version based on the original story follows Ariel and her under the sea friends, including her Fairy Cod Mother, on an adventure they'll never forget!

"Murder Me, Always"
During a very bad performance of "Murder Me, Always" an actual murder takes place off stage... the director is shot. Luckily, a detective happens to arrive, and the audience helps solve the mystery!

Stone Oak Youth Theatre & Dance company (SOYT) is an educational theatre and performing arts experience for kids and teens, located in the Stone Oak area of San Antonio, Texas. Offering year-round classes and performance opportunities in acting for the stage, acting for the camera, musical theater, improvisation, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and private drama, voice, and piano lessons for ages 4-17.
