FARMINGTON, HILLS, MI, June 22, 2011 (Press-News.org) Vistage Michigan, a membership-based organization that provides business leaders with business perspectives and innovative strategies, has announced it is expanding into northern Michigan. The group, which will cover the Northern Michigan region, including Petoskey and Traverse City, also has named Erik Larson, president and owner of bean fields Professional Services LLC in Petoskey, as the Chief Executive (CE) Group Chair.
A respected management consultant and psychotherapist, Larson has dedicated his career to providing the knowledge tools, insight and motivation that allow others to increase the productivity and satisfaction derived from their life and work.
With the goal of guiding individuals and organizations in turning their personal and collective visions and efforts into meaningful and sustainable results, he founded bean fields, in order to help high performing individuals and organizations maximize the results of everything they do so they increase their mindfulness and positively impact their financial bottom-line.
Larson's primary fields of expertise include strategic planning, organizational cultures and executive leadership. This led him to successfully direct strategic planning and leadership performance efforts for corporate and business clients in the banking, healthcare, manufacturing and retail industries, as well as art, community planning and environmental land preservation, and other non-profit entities.

Larson received his bachelor's degree in Biology and Master of Arts in Journalism from Michigan State University, and his Master of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin.
In his role with Vistage Michigan, the Horton Bay resident will act as the advisor, mentor, and business coach to his group, conducting one-to-one coaching sessions with each member. He also will facilitate nine group workshops per year with his chief executive members.
