The Knicks are probably the more famous team of the two, with stars such as David Lee, Al Harrington, Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari regularly notching up points for the side.

Originally called the Knickerbockers, the team were founded in 1946 and have since seen some of the greatest players in the game play in a Knicks vest, including Earl Monroe, Jerry Lucas and Willis Reed.

Meanwhile, the Timberwolves will hope players like Kosta Koufos, Anthony Tolliver and Darko Milicic can fire them ahead of their NBA rivals.

The game will be played on Wednesday October 6th, with the match kicking off at 20:00 local time. Tickets cost upwards of EUR40 (GBP33.40) and are available online.
