2011-06-30
SAN MARCOS, CA, June 30, 2011 (Press-News.org) Work done by San Marcos's own Twin Oaks Gallery Art & Frame was recently shown on Jimmy Kimmel Live! After Tonya Lenz, owner of Twin Oaks Gallery, framed several pieces signed by famous rapper, Ice Cube, they were proudly presented on Jimmy Kimmel's show on June 14th, 2011. Tim Muret, Founder and CEO of RareInk, found Twin Oaks Gallery online using a popular search engine and made a phone call to the owner of Twin Oaks Gallery, Tonya Lenz. He then brought her several pieces signed by Ice Cube, an American rapper, actor, screenwriter, film director, and producer. After Twin Oaks Gallery framed these pieces, they were presented to Big Boy on Power 106 Radio and to Jimmy Kimmel after Ice Cube's performance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The purpose of Rareink is to use autographed art as a platform to generate funding and awareness for humanitarian and charitable programs. 10% of net sales from all RareInk purchases are donated to the recording artist's designated charity organization. Currently, 10% of each print that RareInk sells goes to Ice Cube's charity called Minority Aids Project (MAP). MAP's goal is to reduce suffering and deaths due to HIV infection and AIDS disease in African American and Latino communities by making HIV/AIDS education available and accessible. Find out more about RareInk at http://www.rareink.com. Twin Oaks Gallery hopes to continue making a positive contribution and plans on working with RareInk again in the future.
