SPRINGFIELD, MA, July 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) Gilbane Building Company has opened an office in Springfield, Massachusetts in order to support the company's growing local client list and significant volume of work in the area. The office complements Gilbane's New England headquarters office in Boston, where 170 employees are dedicated to complex construction projects across the Commonwealth. Some of Gilbane's recent and current local projects include:

- Longmeadow High School (scheduled for completion in 2013)
Ryan Hutchins, Gilbane's New England Regional Manager, is committed to growing the company's presence in the Springfield area.
