PRAGUE, July 01, 2011 (Press-News.org) The construction of the school started in Aril 2011 and it should be completely finished by July of this year. To this point the children were being educated in very poor conditions- a small room with clay walls, no benches or chairs. However, this will all change soon and the children in Mozambique will have all new facilities and equipment that is required for education.
Not only European volunteers are taking part in the project, there are also local residents, who appreciate not just the construction of their school, but also the opportunity of earning an income.
The school complex will comprise of three main buildings, where two largest ones will be primarily used for education. The third connecting building will serve as a gym and its premises will also be used for example to organize various school activities and various performances. The standalone building is intended to serve as accommodation facilities for teachers. The school will also host volunteer teachers from Europe.
