As someone who likes to be on the cutting edge of the self storage industry, Advantage Consulting & Management President Brad North saw a need to overhaul his old website and join up with WebWorks, a new self storage marketing service.North is a respected authority in the industry. He has been an owner, general contractor, developer, trainer and consultant. He also lends his voice to the self storage industry as a contributor to several industry publications and as a speaker at various State and National conventions. As such, North knew Advantage's website (http://www.myselfstorageadvantage.com/) needed to be above and beyond the industry standard.
"I anticipate WebWorks taking us to a new level with top exposure in our respective markets on various Internet searches," North said. "It appears that we will have top-tier exposure with Google, Yahoo, Bing and many of the other top search sites. I believe WebWorks will also allow us to present our storage business in a more professional manner. The look, design and functionality of our new WebWorks platform is and will continue to make us the self storage leader in our various markets."
WebWorks is a subsidiary of Red Nova Labs, the company that created StorageFront and Self Storage Marketing Ahead. The service, which launched earlier this year, assists self storage companies with website design, sophisticated development, content management, search engine optimization (SEO) services and web marketing consulting on an ongoing basis.
Advantage's new site also features a storage calculator, which North said is the best he's seen, and is equipped with a complete set of storage tips for renters. Users are able rent a unit or pay a bill online, and that functionality and the design helped sell North.
The performance of the site so far has helped convince North that he made the right choice. North said the SEO services have already helped Advantage's nine facilities in Ohio, Georgia, South Carolina and Maryland.
"The new platform with WebWorks gives us much better SEO exposure as their team is very focused on SEO and has great knowledge on linking our site with hundreds of other sites to feed additional exposure to our website," North said.
Tom Cox, the Web Visibility Manager at WebWorks, said that he knew WebWorks could help Advantage's SEO, but one of the main reasons he sought out North was that his company wanted to be associated with someone as respected as North in the industry.
"Working with Brad is a major milestone for WebWorks," Cox said. "Brad is always ahead of the game in self storage and having him pick our product for his new site shows that we are the right web marketing solution for the industry. We look forward to watching his site continue to grow and drive more leads to his facilities."
Red Nova Labs was founded and self-funded in 2009 as a web development and marketing agency as well as a technology think-tank, creating original, cutting-edge systems for web and mobile. On the service side, the company supports interface design, backend programming and online marketing. On the product side Red Nova Labs invents, builds and launches its own web-based platforms for various applications and vertical markets. To support both business models, its growing team of development engineers conceives resourceful code generators which add practical ease to complex programming—enabling unprecedented speed in creating vibrant, multidimensional environments and utilities. Once a product is launched, each business operates autonomously as an independent unit, with full engineering and marketing support from Red Nova Labs on the back end. The company is open to collaborative opportunities.
