One Thousand Ocean hosts Players Roundtable

An oceanfront penthouse at One Thousand Ocean in Boca Raton served as a perfect backdrop for The Players Roundtable's exclusive event, which is always enhanced by a spectacular location.

2011-07-08
BOCA RATON, FL, July 08, 2011 (Press-News.org) When The Players Roundtable (TPR) sought out an exclusive location in South Florida to hold its most recent networking and investment opportunity review meeting, One Thousand Ocean gladly stepped up to the plate.

Situated on a private peninsula at the Boca Raton Inlet in Boca Raton, the iconic, ultra-luxurious condominium hosted nearly 40 TPR members and guests in its largest oceanfront penthouse residence in June.

TPR is an exclusive, invitation-only networking organization for high-net-worth individuals and influencers within the business and sports communities. Referred to as "the first association of its kind to create an elite roundtable where relationships are made and deals are closed," TPR provides a forum for top-tier professional business executives and athletes to enter into new business ventures as well as enhance their personal development.

"It was great to be able to bring our distinctive group of influencers in business and athletics from around South Florida to a great venue like One Thousand Ocean. It served as a perfect backdrop for our exclusive event which is always enhanced by a spectacular location," said The Players Roundtable's Chief Executive Officer Darrel Branch. "One Thousand Ocean did not disappoint, offering great surroundings and ambiance in one of its fantastic penthouses, leaving us wanting to move right in."

The esteemed guests enjoyed libations, delectable hors d'oeuvres and dinner, followed by the introduction of Jamie Telchin, president of development for LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels. An LXR affiliate is the developer of One Thousand Ocean, which merges cutting-edge design with modern conveniences and the tradition of exclusivity and service at the Boca Raton Resort & Club.

The Boca Raton Resort & Club is the flagship property within the LXR portfolio of approximately 30 upscale hotel and resort properties in the U.S. and Caribbean. One Thousand Ocean is positioned adjacent to the acclaimed resort's Boca Beach Club and just across the Intracoastal Waterway from its main locale.

After giving a brief overview of LXR's properties, Telchin spoke about the remarkable success of One Thousand Ocean. "Since completing the building in February 2010, we've sold 75% of the 52 residences in the building. Now, with only 12 residences available, including seven Residences, two two-story Beach Villas, and three Penthouses, I can confidently say that the opportunities to purchase here are truly limited," he noted. Prices in the building are from approximately $3 million to $15 million.

Branch then conducted a slide presentation that featured several unique investment opportunities for TPR members. A question-and-answer session followed before guests enjoyed dessert (including Popsy Cakes cupcakes on a pretzel rod), visited furnished model residences within the building, and departed for the evening.

The business itself can be one of the largest assets in a marriage. As such, taking a divorcing spouse's word about the value is not the best approach. Properly determining the value of the business is one ...
