BERKELEY, CA, August 12, 2011 (Press-News.org) The gift economy movement is re-emerging in our society quickly and Generosity Street is providing an active forum for neighbors in the San Francisco Bay Area to participate locally. What is the gift economy? It is living life in a culture where giving is the premise and there is no motive. Gift economy is a society where giving valuable goods and services is a regular activity and comes with no expectations in return. It is not an exchange or a bank or any sort - strictly being generous out of the kindness of your own heart.
At Generosity Street, like-minded individuals are developing a place for everyone to give their skills and serve their neighbors with kindness. An unique opportunity to grow within their communities' and create common bonds based on compassion and generosity. Generosity Street is also offering a place to share your inspiring stories of gratitude, generosity and experiences in the pay it forward experiment. They believe that kindness is contagious, and reading your fellow members stories of grace and thankfulness will inspire you to actively participate in their forum and your communities.
Generosity Street is just about to begin it's flagship forum in the San Francisco Bay Area of California and needs your help. What would a gift economy website be, after all, if they didn't reach out to their communities for assistance?
Generosity Street seeks many different talents, including help with Search Engine Optimization (SEO), content development and writing, sharing your inspiring experiences with generosity, and spreading the word of generosity in your own community.
Would you like to learn more about Generosity Street an dhow you can share the kindness? Visit them at http://www.generositystreet.org. You may also email Generosity Street for more information at info@generositystreet.org.
