TEMPE, AZ, August 31, 2011 (Press-News.org) This September, Sea of Green Hydrogardens is giving away three Deep Water Culture (DWC) Bucket systems in their 3 Weeks, 3 Systems, 3 Winners campaign. Register to win your free DWC Bucket system today! Drawings are held on September 7th, 14th, and 21st.

Deep Water Culture - DWC - is a hydroponics method that does not utilize water pumps. Instead, the roots are continuously suspended in a nutrient rich feeding solution. The oxygen that the root zone demands is provided by a simple air pump and air stone combo. Because of this simple construction, DWC may be the easiest hydro system for beginners to construct. Luckily, it is easy to maintain too; just check pH occasionally and change the nutrient solution every week or two. Because there is not a water pump you are less likely to have immanence issues with the system; you can also use organic nutrients that could otherwise clog a water pump or nozzles.

Bucket systems are meant to grow a single plant, but the size of that plant is virtually limitless in regards to the system size (depending upon space in your grow room). This is one of the reasons many growers prefer the bucket system for their mother plants. Additionally, because the plant's roots are suspended in the nutrient solution at all times, growers can get away with using much less fertilizer than in other systems. We recommend using fertilizer at 1/4 strength, often less.

Register now for the 3 Weeks, 3 Systems, 3 Winners campaign to win one of the three bucket systems! Go to http://info.handsonhydroponicsgrowlab.com/win-a-dwc-hydro-bucket-system and enter the drawing. Drawings are held on September 7th, 14th, and 21st. While you are there, sign up for the free Green Member program at http://info.handsonhydroponicsgrowlab.com/sea-of-greens-green-member-program-is-easy-and-free/Default.aspx?&hsCtaTracking=ea522ffa-b305-4a9e-b990-e44d808b1c36|9270de7e-0f2f-45d7-86c7-e69c10e51a5a which will give you discounts on products, access to VIP sales, monthly newsletters, and free or reduced price hydroponic classes.
