"World Progress Report" Helps Consumers Recognize Ponzi Scam Tactics

In the investment world, there are often opportunities to utilize your resources in order to advance your capitol gains, whether it's through business investment, stock trading, or even in an investment on the micro-level. While these resources are great for Americans, there are fraudulent and damaging schemes out there that threaten your wealth should you choose to invest in them.

A Ponzi scam is one of the most prevalent investment frauds in today's society. By paying off new investors with high percentage "gains" utilizing the monetary support of previous investors, the pyramid-like scheme can grow rapidly, but will almost assuredly collapse, leaving your money unaccounted for. There are some easy ways to make sure an investment opportunity that has presented itself isn't one of this nature.

First off, make sure you do a background check on an individual or business you plan on investing with. If there are potential questions about their investment strategy, it would be unwise to invest capitol in them. Also make sure you have legal counsel to review investment contracts to assure they are of sound legal worth.
