ERIE, PA, September 16, 2011 (Press-News.org) Swan-Matic, a bottle capping equipment manufacturer presents an air operated bench top capper. The C400 series of bench top cappers are hazardous location, single cycle cappers which use air controllers to energize an air clutch and brake system in order to cycle the cappers on and off. Hazardous location cappers can be used in conditions where standard equipment would corrode. An air capper can be a safer alternative over electric cappers when capping certain materials.
The Model C400 utilizes a variable speed air motor to drive the capper's gear mechanism. With this air capper, up to 50 cycles per minute are possible with a shop air supply of 60 PSI and can draw up to 32 cubic feet per minute during its duty cycle. Single cycle cappers feature a v-block switch that helps the operator accurately place the bottle in the correct position time after time. The v-block switch will also stop the machine cycle when a bottle is removed, minmizing potential injuries.
"This capper model is available with several different options including the C116 controller which features a reversing switch that allows for the removal of caps and closures as well as the tightening or closing," explains Bob Pacansky, Swan-Matic Engineer. "Electroless nickel is an available coating option for the C400 capper and would typically be used in corrosive capping applications," explains Pacansky. "Customers in certain industries would benefit the most from electroless, such as pickling, citric juices and concentrates and acidic solutions and compounds."
Swan-Matic specializes in handheld and bench-top cappers for small to mid-size production runs. A variety of handheld and bench-top cappers make up this product line along with aluminum driver shells and renewable inserts. For more information on the C400 air operating capper, contact a Swan-Matic engineer.

In fact, early findings suggest it is possible to parse out the complexity of thinking into its individual components, and in the process determine how they are integrated as we ponder and decide.
Recently, researchers in decision neuroscience participated in a discussion about their work and the genesis of this cutting-edge field. During the ...
