Detroit-Area Radio Celebrity, Jim O. Partners with Harper BMI to Present Free Weight Loss Seminar

DETROIT, MI, October 05, 2011 (Press-News.org) Jim O'Brien, known as "Jim O." to his many radio fans will emcee a free public educational seminar on weight management, at Harper University Hospital on October 8, 2011. O'Brien, who began a weight loss program with DMC Harper Bariatric (Harper BMI) in early 2011, believes that people looking for ways to lose weight should find out as much as they can about their options. "Whether it's you or someone you love, you've got to do the research. The next thing to do is attend the seminar, because you can sit down and talk to people who have had the procedure and talk to the actual doctors, so you can visualize yourself going through this," O'Brien said.

The free seminar, presented by Harper BMI, will consist of education on weight management as well as Harper BMI's Comprehensive Michigan Bariatric Surgery Program. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the different surgical and non-surgical weight management options including lap band as well as another popular procedure in Michigan, gastric bypass surgery.
