Gourmet bakery's partnership with literacy non-profit makes for the perfect recipe

Isabella's Cookie Company is pleased to kick off its partnership with literacy non-profit organization, Milk + Bookies , with a sweet treat that not only makes taste buds happy, but also brings books to children in need. The Los Angeles-based gourmet bakery has created an official Milk + Bookies Chocolate Chip Cookie, which will be available for purchase online starting November 2011, to help raise money and awareness for the nonprofit. For every Milk + Bookies Chocolate Chip Cookie bought, Isabella's Cookie Company will donate a portion of the proceeds directly to the cause.With "Read, Give, Grow!" as its motto, Milk + Bookies encourages giving through events where children select, purchase and inscribe books that are then given to children who do not have books of their own.
