"This is OSHA's first written guidance on inspection procedures for investigating workplace violence incidents," says Johnny Lee, President of ePanic Button. "Workplace violence is recognized as an occupational hazard in some industries and environments, and the OSHA directives provide an extremely helpful set of guidelines that teach organizations how inspections of workplace violence incidents should be conducted."

Nearly 2 million American workers report having been victims of workplace violence each year. Unfortunately, many more cases go unreported.

Over the past 15 years, workplace violence has remained one of the top four causes of death in the workplace. In addition, it results in tens of thousands of non-fatal injuries annually.
