NEW YORK, NY, November 21, 2011 (Press-News.org) This is the perfect opportunity for DIY homeowners who have that one room that's missing something to make their home meet their design expectations.
Before the holiday season begins, you can win one of three mini makeovers. From now until November 29, homeowners are invited to like the Facebook page of Christine Tse Interiors and to leave a comment letting her know why your home needs a mini makeover. Explain your design dilemma in a few sentences and you might win. Winners will be announced on November 30, 2011 on the Facebook page.
"Happiness come from inside - so let's start with your home!" Christine says.
Each of the three winners of the mini makeover will need to answer a questionnaire that Christine will send them, along with a floor plan. After this, a 30-minute Skype talk will be scheduled.
The winners will receive:
• A floor plan with furniture placement.
• A color palette.
• Furnishings and accessories.
• Fabric advice.
All of this will be done over the Internet, and the process will take about two to three weeks to finish.

Planting depth's effect on container-grown trees
2011-11-21
BLACKSBURG, VA -- Many landscape trees are started in-ground, then sold as bare-root ''liners'' to producers who plant them in large containers to grow. To minimize wind damage and to facilitate transport from potting areas to growing beds, the liners are often buried deeper than necessary. This deep planting of liners results in "finished" container plants with deep structural roots, important foundations of root systems responsible for trees' health and stability.
