The British School will be welcoming students from Hong Kong, Dhaka and Delhi to take part in the three day festival hosted at the school. International practitioners from overseas and Delhi will be brought together to run a series of ensemble and workshop groups for the young participants over the three days, culminating in a performance on Sunday. This will be a wonderful opportunity for young people who enjoy theatre. The festival has been titled "A Bounty of Art" and this will be used as a starting point for the young people to explore and develop their ensemble theatre performances. The festival will also move out of the school for some site specific work at the Sanskriti foundation on the Friday afternoon. It is here that the festival will use the surrounding sites and cultural influences to enhance their work and ideas. Each ensemble group will be taken down a different creative path and it will be exciting to see what they have created when they show their work on the Sunday afternoon.
The school will also be welcoming Tim Mann to the British School for a public performance of his one man show "Space". Tim is a successful actor from the UK who has toured internationally with his show and Tim will be performing to ISTA participants and audience members on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm in the school auditorium.
