Diversified Business Communications Acquires Pri-Med USA

Diversified Business Communications has purchased the Pri-Med brand and US- based assets from MC Holdings Corporation.

PORTLAND, ME, November 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) Pri-Med is the largest primary-care focused media network in the United States with over 50 annual live medical educational conferences and digital properties. Founded in 1994, Pri-Med is a trusted multi-channel network which serves doctors, physician assistants, nurse practitioners and other care givers. At the live events, attendees can customize their own CME schedule by choosing from over 50 clinical lectures developed and presented by Harvard Medical School and other top medical institutions. Pri-Med educates over 50,000 primary care clinicians annually representing one million hours of CME credit.

Pri-Med's founder, John Mooney, will rejoin Pri-Med as CEO with his former management team, Lynn Long and Dix Wheelock.

Diversified currently operates over 20 primary care and medical specialty events in Canada under the leadership of Managing Director Bob Macgregor, who will partner with the returning management team to provide strategic direction for this new division.
