"When you have a tough situation and you can't see your way through, you have to call out to God for help..." says Victory Steps creator Bonnie Mechelle. Once a size 28, Bonnie personally experienced the pain of what it's like to be a binge eater, compulsive overeater and emotional eater. Bonnie was able to go from a size 28 to a size 8 by calling out to God for help. She later became a holistic nutritionist, fitness instructor and spiritual life coach then created Victory Steps to, "release women from the emotional and physical bondage of being overweight."
This program is for Christian women who need to lose weight and develop a self-care plan. The coaches are a kind and caring group of women that pray for clients and with clients, plus teach their clients how to develop healthy eating and exercise habits. Victory Steps has a 6 week plan for: grocery shopping, healthy cooking strategies, reading nutrition facts labels, boosting self-esteem, working out, journaling, prayer and bible study.
