Holiday Happenings are Fun, Colorful and Plentiful at Ripley s Attractions Coast to Coast

A visit to one of Ripleys family attractions through the end of December promises to be both a memorable and colorful experience.

ORLANDO, FL, November 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) Whether it s a visit to where Santa sits on YOUR lap to a ride through the nations oldest city on the Big Ride Christmas Train, Ripley Entertainment is rolling out the red and green carpet from coast to coast. Here s a sampling:

St. Augustine, Florida
Enjoy Saint Augustines magical Nights of Lights decorations from Ripleys Big Red Christmas Train. Enjoy holiday spirit, classic Christmas music and great family fun on your journey.
Your train ticket will include FREE magical viewing glasses and admission to Santa s Village and Toy Workshop, where children can create holiday crafts, receive a gift from Santa, play games, take
home a cup of snow and enjoy a snack. For an additional $1, you can add a round of mini golf at Prancers Putt-Putt.
Dates: Through January 4. (Closed Christmas Day and New Years Eve) Hours: Sunday " Thursday, 6 to 8 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 6 to 9 p.m. Cost: $7 for adults, $3 for children 3-11.

Inside Santas Village, the jolly old elf himself will appear nightly. Fun for kids of all ages, and free with your Red Train ticket for Nights of Lights.
Dates: December 2-3, 9-10, 16-17 & 23-24 from 6 to 9 p.m. Cost: Free with Red Train ticket purchase.

Bayfront Mini Golf is going all North Pole this year through January 2. Prancer has taken a break and is enjoying this holiday themed mini golf course. You may even spot our automated Santa taking a stroke or two. You can add it on to a train tour for only $1 or pay the regular price and enjoy the holiday version of our Bayfront mini-golf course.

Florida Resident Appreciation Days runs from December 1 " 20. All Florida residents will get into ALL of our attractions at 50% off. This includes ghost, trains, museum and golf. Residents must show proof of residency by presenting either a local photo ID, or a power bill in their name.

Ripley s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach
Come celebrate the Festival of Trees at Ripley s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach . More than 50 trees will be on display throughout the aquarium and adorned in unique ornaments, representing the great diversity of the United States.

Another great festival feature is the Ripleys Holiday Tree Scavenger Hunt, a unique tree trivia game, available at no charge from the Guest Service desk. This facts-based game always gets guests shouting out the answers and testing their knowledge about the state trees.
Festival of Trees is included with regular aquarium admission!

Reverse SantaReturns to Ripleys Believe It or Not! Times Square in New York City this Holiday Season.
Ripleys own very small Reverse Santa will sit on visitor s laps this December creating an out-of-the-ordinary holiday family photo.
Reverse Santa photos will be available each Saturday from Noon to 7 p.m., December 3 through December 24, as well as December 26 through 29.
Guests to the Odditorium will have the opportunity to take a variety of fun holiday shots with Reverse Santa.Individual prints, key chains and magnets can be purchased on site at Ripleys Times Square, as well as a CD to create personalized holiday cards or share online with friends.
