MILAN, ITALY, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) Travellers interested in motorbikes or pedal-powered transportation will be in their element if they head to the International Bicycle and Motorcycle Exhibition in Milan.

Running from November 2nd to 7th 2010 at the Fiera Milano, the show is not to be missed by anyone who is passionate about two-wheelers, according to What's on When.

The travel listings website described the event as having gone from "strength to strength" during its history, which stretches back nearly a century.

"As well as promoting Italian-made products, the show features an array of exhibitors from 39 countries, attracting some 50,000 international trade visitors," it added.

The first two days of the exhibition (November 2nd and 3rd) are specifically for trade and press, but the rest of the occasion is open to the public.

Among the treats in store for guests at some of the luxury hotels Milan has to offer are Motolive and Green Planet, which feature outdoor tests of top motorbikes and some of the hybrid and electric models available respectively.

The organisers revealed the 2009 edition saw 450,000 visitors in total, with 1,341 brands making an appearance.

Opening hours for the event are from 10:00 to 18:30 local time every day except November 5th, when the venue stays open until 22:00.

Admission costs EUR18 (GBP15).
