CCL Client Solutions Believes That Giving Thanks Can Improve Your Business

It's Thanksgiving for our American friends and though we don't celebrate the holiday in theUK, apparently our businesses could thrive just by giving thanks. CCL Client Solutions investigates, does a thank you go further than they first thought...

2011-11-25
YORKSHIRE, ENGLAND, November 25, 2011 (Press-News.org) Study after study has shown that simply by saying "Thank You" to customers they will spend more money and spread the word about a business. There is also a wealth of evidence to show that the productivity of employees increases rapidly when appreciation is expressed. CCL Client Solutions, a customer acquisition and marketing company, looks at the most effective ways to express your gratitude, improving your business and your customers' experience.

At CCL Client Solutions we are huge fans of social media, but sometimes the old ways are the best ways. Take the time to write a handwritten letter when it really matters. It doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to tell someone that you know there are other options out there and you appreciate their custom. In the same vein, thank the people you work with when they've done something really well or gone the extra mile. Everyone likes a card for their mantelpiece.

The specifics are key. It's going to sound generic and meaningless if you say "CCL Client Solutions thanks you for your custom." Instead think about the details of your encounter, "It was great to meet you last Monday, we really hope that you're getting on well with your new product. We appreciate that you chose CCL Client Solutions and please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in the next few days or in the future."

Appreciate the effort that people went to in helping you. Again, be specific. Don't simply say, "thanks for helping out today, you did a great job." Instead say, "I really appreciate the effort you put in to help that customer, particularly when you took the time to explain the service in extra detail and answered all of their questions. I know that helped the customer make an informed decision and I know they will be happy." That way you're also telling them what they did well and it will help them to give your customers a better service.

Perhaps our Grandmothers were right, a 'thank you' is rewarding for both parties. Simple yet effective and CCL Client Solutions is sure that your business will reap the rewards. Happy Thanksgiving!

CCL Client Solutions is one of the UK's most innovative marketing and sales companies. Based in Sheffield with offices around the UK we seek to approach our marketing from a different angle than our competitors keeping us ahead of the game.
