All Seasons Homecare, a senior in-home care provider, is sponsoring a team in the Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk to help raise awareness, support and funds for research into Alzheimer's.

2010-09-23
SAN JOSE, CA, September 23, 2010 (Press-News.org) On September 25th teams of friends, families and co-workers will join together in the fight against Alzheimer's disease through a fundraising 1 or 3 mile walk. All Seasons Homecare, a provider of senior in-home caregivers, is excited to be sponsoring a team and welcomes anyone to join them in this community event.

Adriane Morris, All Season Homecare's Manager of Client Services in Santa Clara County, recently walked for Stroke Awareness in May and "got bit with this bug to continue to walk for causes that effect our clients and their families". Adriane is "determined to make a difference in the fight against Alzheimer's disease. By participating in the 2010 Alzheimer's Association Memory Walk, [she is] committed to raising awareness and funds for Alzheimer research, care and support."

Alzheimer's disease affects a large portion of All Seasons Homecare clients and there is currently no cure for this debilitating disease. It is very painful to see so many clients and their families suffer from its effects and All Seasons is committed to not only providing in-home support, but also trying to target the root cause of this illness.

This event is a very positive communal event with free coffee, family-friendly events, an information booth and a remembrance area. The Silicon Valley Memory Walk will be held Saturday, September 25th at the Arena Green in downtown San Jose. Check-in begins at 8:30 and the walk begins at 10:00am. All Seasons Homecare is currently recruiting team members for the walk and welcomes all interested participants. To join, contact Adriane at 408.279.3030 or adrianemorris.allseasons@yahoo.com
