FREDERICK, MD, December 23, 2011 (Press-News.org) L1 Enterprises, a service- disabled veteran-owned small business announced today that is was awarded a federal government contract in the amount of $14.6 million to provide the "L1berty UDB901 Urine Collection" bags to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs (VA) facilities nationwide. This VA Standardization Program Contract will run for the 2012 calendar year with four additional one-year options.
The VA's national standardization program is a partnership between the Veteran's Health Administration (VHA) and the Office of Acquisitions and Logistics (OA&L). The program was accomplished through a Mandatory Use National Requirements Contract and incorporates a goal of providing the VA with quality products, consistent patient care, and fair and reasonable prices to ensure consistency and quality of care for all patients in VA facilities.
