Organizers Announce the 2012 All-Star Celebrity Golf Invitational to Benefit Arnold Palmer Charities

LAKELAND, FL, December 27, 2011 (Press-News.org) On February 24th, 2012, Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge will host the "All-Star Celebrity Golf Invitational".

Golfers, sponsors, and supporters from around the region will join forces with celebrities of sport and entertainment for a great cause. The tournament allows for a unique opportunity to tee it up with celebrities on a course that is legendary.

This week, Anthony Anderson, actor ("Law and Order", "Barbershop"), comedian and host of the Golf Channel's "Golf in America" committed to the All-Star Celebrity Golf Invitational by serving as the VIP guest emcee.

The All-Star Celebrity Golf Invitational will feature many of the greatest names in sports and entertainment. All proceeds will benefit the Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and the Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies.

About Arnold Palmer's Bay Hill Club & Lodge
The Bay Hill Club was built in 1961. It was just four short years after that in 1965 when the legendary golfer, Arnold Palmer, played in and won a charity golf event on what was then an unknown golf course.
