APPLETON, WI, December 29, 2011 (Press-News.org) From creators Steve Goltz and Kevin Sommerfield comes a new experiment in terror. A throwback to the slasher films of the 1980s, "Teddy: It's Gonna be a Bear" tells the story of four college students that get more than the bargained for when a hit-and-run accident turns into murder. Revenge is a dish best served hot with a hatchet in one hand and a teddy bear in the other. Will they "bearly" be able to survive the night?

Teddy: It's Gonna be a Bear" is Slasher Studios' first short horror film. An independent 14 page horror short that was shot on Canon 5 with a budget of just $3,000 over three days in a mountain cabin. The film has now been released with amazing from reviews from Dread Central said that Teddy is "an excellent short, nicely shot, with really cool F/X" and Crazed Cinema said "It's not called Slasher Studios for nothing. I foresee "Teddy" being a hit at many horror film festivals from here on in and if you're in the mood to bear this gem, by all means keep an eye out for it."
