LONDON, ENGLAND, September 24, 2010

FRP Transition, the specialist interim management provider, is proud to support the Rushlight Awards, designed to promote and celebrate the leading energy, resource and environmental technologies and innovations by businesses throughout the UK and Ireland.

Now in their fourth year, the Rushlight Awards are a celebration and promotion of new technology, innovation and best practice across the whole environment spectrum for organisations throughout the UK and Ireland.

With 24 separate categories covering renewable energy, clean fuels, energy efficiency, power generation, green products and services, water, waste and environmental monitoring and management, the awards highlight the technologies and innovations that are shaping the energy, transport, environment and industry sectors in the future.

The awards are accredited by the RSA, so the winners of the group categories will be eligible to go forward to represent the UK or Ireland in the European Business Awards for the Environment.
FRP Transition is supporting the Rushlight Awards, by providing a prize for one of the winners. This includes the offer to search and select either an interim member of management or a Non-Executive Director for a company, free of search fees.

Susan Moor, Director at FRP Transition, says: "The Rushlight Awards are an excellent opportunity to celebrate environmental innovation in the UK and Ireland. There can be no doubt that the environment is one of the top items on the political, social and commercial agendas today.

"FRP Transition is delighted to support the Awards, which stand out as the only awards of their kind in the UK and Ireland, recognising businesses which strive to further advance society's ability to live in a sustainable way."

The Rushlight Awards 2010 are now open for entries. The closing date for entries is 31 October 2010 and the Gala Awards Dinner will follow on 27 January 2011 at Church House Westminster, London.
