Storage Solutions of Corinth Becomes a GREENspot

Storage Solutions of Corinth has joined the GREENspot DROPoff network of free and convenient e-waste recycling locations and is one of the first to provide a place where people and businesses can drop off e-waste for proper recycling in Corinth, TX.

2012-01-11
BURBANK, CA, January 11, 2012 (Press-News.org) GREENspot DROPoff has moved into Texas. Storage Solutions of Corinth has joined the GREENspot DROPoff network of free and convenient e-waste recycling DROPoff locations and is one of the first locations to provide a place where people and businesses can drop off e-waste for proper recycling in Corinth, Texas.

GREENspot's unique approach to e-waste recycling not only benefits the environment, but also the local communities that it services. $1 per each computer monitor, television, computer, flat screen and laptop dropped off at Storage Solutions of Corinth will be donated to Kure It Cancer Research.

"GREENspot DROPoff is a great opportunity for a win/win situation. This gives Storage Solutions of Corinth the opportunity to not only contribute to a cleaner planet, but to also raise much needed money to support cancer research through Kure-it.", says Troy Downing, CEO, AC Self Storage Solutions.

According to the EPA, e-waste is the fastest growing waste stream in America and accounts for about 70% of our hazardous waste. To combat the growing problem, GREENspot DROPoff, Inc. has partnered with BAN (Basel Action Network) compliant recyclers. BAN regulations are by far the strictest in the industry, requiring recyclers to process all e-waste material domestically and maintain a zero landfill policy.

"Having the latest and greatest and being environmentally responsible aren't mutually exclusive. But it really comes down to choice—you have to choose to recycle, the same way you have to choose to buy something. At the end of the day, we're all responsible for the choices we make." Said Mike Wachtel, President of GREENspot DROPoff, Inc.
