NORTHRIDGE, CA, January 25, 2012 (Press-News.org) Paris Media entertainment today announces that the Chambers Brothers are back. Yes, that's right, the 1960's Soul and Rock and Roll group The Chambers Brothers are getting back together. They are currently rehearsing and preparing for their summer concert tours and recording a new album. The biggest and most exciting news about the Chambers Brothers is they are preparing for the journey into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
The Chambers Brothers had their big hit "Time Has Come Today" which has been in several films and video games. Being voted as one of Los Angeles' top 50 bands is such an honor for them and they are excited to be getting back together. Tour and concert dates are soon to be announced. They are also making a behind the scenes DVD of their journey into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Some other greatest hits of The Chambers Brothers include "People Get Ready," "Love Peace and Happiness," and "Let's Get Funky." Getting their start in their hometown church choir, The Chambers Brothers went from hometown legends to one of the biggest rock groups in 1968 throughout the 70's with the release of "Time Has Come Today."
In speaking with The Chambers Brothers regarding their reunite, Joe Chambers said "We are so excited to get back into the studio to rehears again. It's been awhile and now, as the song says, time has come today." Willie Chambers agrees: "Time has definitely come for us to get back out there touring and seeing our fans again. We are really happy to be doing this. Rehearsals are going well and we are having so much fun."
