HOUSTON, TX, September 24, 2010 (Press-News.org) Lanner Group, the business transformation and simulation modeling solutions provider, has cautioned business leaders in its latest free white paper that in order to achieve future goals they must accept the new realities of risk mitigation through simulation and process optimization.
Published ahead of the company's free webinar, explaining the power of simulation and simulation software, on September 28th, the new executive briefing paper, "Fortune's Accomplice? The Simulation of Risks and Controls", is aimed at executives leading manufacturing, financial services, compliance, and risk management sectors.
Commenting on Lanner Group's assessment of the role of simulation when it comes to reducing business risk, David Jones, CEO says, "Risk is inherent in business and critical for growth. However, simulation modeling has a vital role to play in making sure that risk is kept in check and, where possible, mitigated with the implementation of the right controls.
"There are always implications in implementing new systems without a confident and comprehensive prediction of their likely impact. This has been part of the business case for modeling for many years.
He concludes, "Lanner Group has developed the capability to simulate not only risks in business processes but also the ability to assess the impact of controls put in place to minimize those risks."
Ahead of the forthcoming release of award-winning software system WITNESS Power with Ease 3.0 David says, "Simulation can not only demonstrate the right control to be used, but also, via optimization, the best way it should be used.
"Because simulation identifies and analyzes an end-to-end process as a series of smaller sub-processes of cause and effect, it can highlight the impact of a single change, throughout the complete process chain."
WITNESS Power with Ease 3.0 due later this year will boast further advances in virtual representation combined with a wide range of ease of use and power features. A greater range of 3D shapes and animations, allied to extended carpet and environment manipulation will add to the Virtual Reality power of Quick3D that was introduced to wide acclaim in Power with Ease version 1.
