2012-02-24
SAN BERNARDINO, CA, February 24, 2012 (Press-News.org) Time for Change Foundation (TFCF) is proud to announce its upcoming 10th Year Anniversary Gala celebration on Thursday April 12, 2012. The event will take place at 6pm in the Valencia Room at the National Orange Show, located at 690 South Arrowhead Avenue in San Bernardino, CA 92408.

The agency will be "Celebrating Life's Precious Jewels," as the many women and children who have been helped throughout the years continue to sparkle and dazzle their new lives. "Never in a million years would I have thought that God would use me in this way," says Kim Carter - Founder and Executive Director of Time For Change Foundation.

Since its inception in 2002, TFCF has helped over 500 families with their transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. The organization truly filled a void in this community by being committed to change - both for the individuals and for the community. Through its "family-model" housing, women and their children have a safe place to heal, recover, and grow. "We are so excited to be celebrating 10 years of changing lives," said John Kunkel, Director of Communications.

For more information, sponsorship and ticket sales, call the Foundation at909.886.2994, or e-mail jkunkel@Timeforchangefoundation.org.

Since 2002 Time For Change Foundation has been dedicated to helping homeless women and children achieve self-sufficiency by using a strength-based approach to address their needs. Our programs and supportive services help to provide the women and children with the tools necessary to recover from homelessness, drug addiction, family separation, mental and physical abuse, and the effects of incarceration.

The children in our program are the priority. Our early childhood development program, learning activities, and consistent love and support help break the intergenerational cycle of poverty and incarceration, paving the way to a successful future.
