Rooted Nutrition Announces Spring Session and New, Convenient Location

Rooted Nutrition, a company dedicated to encouraging the use of whole foods in every day cooking, is excited to announce their Spring Session. Courses offered now at a new, location that allows them to offer additional courses on weekday evenings.

VANCOUVER, BC, March 01, 2012 (Press-News.org) Helping people feel more comfortable in their own kitchens is one of the primary efforts put forth by Rooted Nutrition, and the company offers a variety of courses to teach people how to incorporate whole foods into their daily lives. Rooted Nutrition has announced a number of new courses for their Spring Session, with 17 classes on topics that from ancient grains to sprouting foods for energy and digestive health. Rooted Nutrition's curriculum is designed to teach students that healthy whole foods can be prepared to be delicious and nutritious.

For the 2012 Spring session, Rooted Nutrition will be introducing seasonal foods, such as wild stinging nettles, radishes, and rhubarb, to the cooking classes they offer. In addition to holding weekend courses at their existing Radha location, they will now be offering conveniently accessible courses on weekday evenings at the Woodland Smokehouse and Commissary. "We are so thrilled to be offering cooking classes in another great venue! The Woodland Smokehouse and Commissary is a shared kitchen space for culinary professionals and artisans like us," explains Andrea Potter Owner of Rooted Nutrition. "This commercial kitchen space is great because it offers lots of room for us to so more hands-on projects and recipes! The owners of the space share our values about caring for our community by offering great quality locally made foods."

Conveniently located at the north end of Commercial Drive, having access to the additional space will allow Rooted Nutrition to reach more people with their message about the value of incorporating healthy whole foods in every day cooking. Those interested can register for Spring session courses online at the Rooted Nutrition website. "We were finding it difficult to keep up with the demand before the new location allowed us to expand our services," explains Potter. "These additional classes help both beginners and 'well seasoned' cooks alike to cut through nutrition info overload and just get down to cooking real, vibrant and nourishing food."
