GREENCOAT Wax-Replacement Corrugated Boxes

Interstate Container Cambridge invested 5 years of R&D to develop and successfully trial GREENCOAT wax-alternative boxes with leading poultry processor, Mountaire Farms. Interstate Container now supplies top poultry manufacturers throughout the U.S. with the award-winning wax-free corrugated box.

GREENCOAT boxes are compostable, FBA-certified 100% recyclable and repulpable. This innovative wax-alternative box withstands high exposure to moisture, rough handling, long storage and transportation, and the ins-and-outs of cold-to-hot environmental conditions.

GREENCOAT boxes have proven effectiveness, offering the same strength as traditional cascaded wax boxes and curtain coated wax boxes without the carbon footprint. In addition, GREENCOAT boxes are easier to glue.

Cost-Effectiveness

GREENCOAT boxes are cost neutral to current wax packaging. Interstate Container does not outsource the coating of paper to third parties, and thus controls 100% of GREENCOAT box manufacturing process. Furthermore, the sustainable box cuts landfill disposal fees, and customers profit from cost savings.

About ComboPAC Bulk Bins

ComboPAC bulk bins provide an easy-to-assemble and 100% recyclable packaging solution. The non-wax coated bulk bin with an integrated lining withstands loading and unloading without leaking. A tough, waterproof polyethylene (PE) outer-woven sleeve tucks underneath the bin to secure the container and provide full bottom support.

Cost-Effectiveness

ComboPAC bins offer customers substantial cost savings by weighing less than other bulk bins thus lowering transportation costs with more containers per truckload. The bulk bin also reduces use of paper and requires less warehouse space thus decreasing storage costs. In addition, ComboPAC PE woven sleeve eliminates bulging, bursting and spills.
