BLUE BELL, PA, March 15, 2012 (Press-News.org) CEO and President of ChemLogix LLC, Steve Hamilton will join Governor Tom Corbett with a delegation of Pennsylvania business leaders on an International Trade Mission to Europe focused on expanding economic opportunities for Pennsylvania. The seven business leaders representing a diverse range of Pennsylvania-based companies will travel with Governor Corbett to France and Germany to connect with potential export partners and forge new international business relationships.
"With the private-sector support of the Team Pennsylvania Foundation, I am proud to lead our business leaders on this mission to create real opportunities for economic investment and job growth," said Corbett. "While in France and Germany, we will connect our businesses with opportunities to enter new markets and will meet directly with companies that are looking at investing and creating jobs in Pennsylvania."
The International Trade Mission will provide ChemLogix with the opportunity to meet directly with companies interested in contracting supply chain management and logistics services as well as offering their transportation expertise. "In addition to meeting with potential new customers and transportation providers, I hope to scout potential locations for ChemLogix to set up new facilities in Europe to support our growing international business," notes Steve Hamilton.
The March mission is scheduled for March 19 to 23, 2012. During that time, the business leaders will visit Lyon and Paris in France as well as Stuttgart and Dusseldorf in Germany. France and Germany are two of Pennsylvania's most important trade partners, representing the state's fourth-largest export market and top source of foreign direct investment in Pennsylvania.
