CHICAGO, IL, April 05, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Traffic Safety Coalition, a national not for profit committed to making our roads safer through the use of traffic safety tools, including red light cameras, has released a dramatic new video called "It's the Law" highlighting the need for all drivers to always obey the law, or possibly suffer the consequences of a dangerous crash.
The intense 30 second video opens with the question: "Why you stop on red?" It is followed by jarring footage of real red light running crashes, including several crashes where pedestrians and other vehicles are impacted by red light runners. Viewers are reminded 700 people are killed in red light running crashes each year and that red light running is illegal, ending with "Stop on Red, It's the Law. You shouldn't need another reason."
This is one of many videos produced by the Traffic Safety Coalition. It can be found on the Coalition's YouTube page at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_do5Pl-XIgo&list=PL2F2F683E1070850A&index=2&feature=plcp.
