BANGKOK, THAILAND, May 23, 2012 (Press-News.org) Top international music acts will perform in Bangkok at the River Jazz Festival 2012, which will be held on June 30th and July 1st at the Asiatique The Riverfront venue.
Visitors will be able to unwind to the sound of live performances by acclaimed acts such as the Glenn Miller Orchestra and Fourplay, against the scenic backdrop of the Chao Phraya River.
The first day's programme will see the Glenn Miller Orchestra treating audiences to renditions of classic songs such as Moonlight Serenade and Tuxedo Junction, with local act Koh Mr Saxman offering support.
Day two will showcase the talents of Japanese/Brazilian bossa nova singer Lisa Ono and contemporary jazz act Fourplay, as well as Thai singer Ben Chalatit and jazz orchestra The Quartet.
Performances get underway each day at 19:30 local time and tickets cost 1,500 baht (GBP30.20) for one day and 2,500 baht for the whole festival.
