TAIPEI, TAIWAN, June 27, 2012 (Press-News.org) The Taipei Expo Park will be showcasing the talents of aspiring young performers at a special event called Dream Star this summer.

Taking place at Xinsheng Park Area on July 21st, the talent show will feature kids aged between five and ten with a passion for singing and dancing.

By showing off what they can do before the assembled audiences, contestants will be in with a chance of winning fabulous prizes, including photoshoot opportunities, coupons, theme park tickets and more.

The contest is open to kids who can prove they have visited the park's Pavilion of Dreams attraction at least once before, while they will also need to submit a clip of themselves performing for review by the organisers.

Taipei Expo Park is easily reached by car, bus or MRT and has proven a popular tourist attraction since opening in its current form last year.

Created to stage the Taipei International Flora Exposition that took place in 2010 and 2011, the park now houses attractions such as the Taipei Story House, Pavilion of Aroma and Flowers and the 3D Vision Theatre.
