ROME, ITALY, June 28, 2012 (Press-News.org) Duran Duran are heading to Rome for a concert at the Foro Italico next month.

The iconic British pop group, whose career spans more than three decades, will perform at the venue as part of their latest world tour on Wednesday July 18th.

Fans can look forward to hearing hits such as Hungry Like the Wolf, Save a Prayer and Ordinary World when Simon Le Bon and his bandmates take to the stage.

People heading to the Italian capital will also have a chance to see the band before they perform at a special concert to mark the beginning of the Olympic Games in London on Friday July 27th.

Tickets for the Rome show are priced between EUR30 and EUR69 (GBP24.20 and GBP55.70).

Formed in 1978, Duran Duran have sold more than 80 million records around the world and registered 30 top 20 hits in the UK.

The band are currently preparing to release their new concert film A Diamond in the Mind, which captures a performance at Manchester's MEN Arena in December last year.
