Jackson Design & Remodeling Designer Bonnie Bagley Catlin Earns CCID Certification

The California Council for Interior Design Certification program works to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public by ensuring the professional performance of those designers they certify.

SAN DIEGO, CA, June 30, 2012 (Press-News.org) Jackson Design & Remodeling is proud to announce that Designer Bonnie Bagley Catlin has earned a CCID Certification (CCIDC) from the State of California.

The California Council for Interior Design Certification program works to protect the health, safety and welfare of the public by ensuring the professional performance of those designers they certify. To become Certified, an interior designer must have a minimum of six years combined with an accredited interior design education and experience (or) a minimum of 8 years combined interior design education and experience; plus the passage of required exams. Interior designers are examined for competence in California Codes and Regulations, design synthesis, schematics, programming, space planning, design development, working drawings construction documents, furniture and finish specifications, lighting layout and specifications, contract documents, contract administration, and business law and ethics.

A graduate of Portland Community College, Bonnie earned both an Associate of Science degree and an Associate of Arts degree with a concentration in Interior Design. Bonnie brings 15 years of experience to the JDR team. Her innovative approach embraces the transformative qualities of design, guiding clients to new ways of thinking about how "good" design influences lifestyle. Since joining the JDR team, Bonnie's projects gave received several awards; including a National Chrysalis award for a rustic modern kitchen located near La Jolla and a regional Contractor of the Year Award (CotY) for an art-inspired kitchen design in Point Loma. Bonnie's work has been published in numerous publications, including Riviera Magazine, the San Diego Union Tribune, Kitchens Magazine and San Diego Magazine.
