2012-07-07
VERNON, VT, July 07, 2012 (Press-News.org) National news wires and sources across the country have recently been reporting of grim economic times including layoffs, increases in unemployment, falling stocks and poor home sales over the past six months but one company continues to grow in spite of these statistics.

This June, Vermont Woods Studios has introduced two new Sales Associates and two new Marketing Assistants to add to their pre-existing team of 6, including owners Peggy and Ken Farabaugh. The new staff members will be helping this growing company accomplish new goals and continue to expand in the world of online fine furniture sales.

Vermont Woods Studios is an online retailer of Vermont-made, eco-friendly furniture that showcases the most skilled craftsman Vermont has to offer. Founded in 2005, part of the mission at Vermont Woods Studios is about offering personal attention to their furniture and customers from their own "Green Team" of staff members.

In addition to current staff members Ken, Peggy, Kendall Farabaugh, Douglas Fletcher, Manjula Vemula and Dennis Shanoff, new employees include:

Heather Barrett, Marketing Assistant, is a native of Southern Vermont and brings an educational background in Mass Communications to Vermont Woods Studios.
