AMLI Flagler Village Completes Energy Efficient Lighting Retrofit Project

Value Energy Solutions selected by AMLI for apartment energy efficient lighting retrofit project

2012-07-14
ATLANTA, GA, July 14, 2012 (Press-News.org) Value Energy Solutions, one of the largest commercial lighting installation and lighting retrofit companies in the nation, recently completed an apartment parking garage lighting retrofit project for AMLI Flagler Village located in downtown Fort Lauderdale, Florida. AMLI Flagler Village is owned and managed by AMLI Residential, one of the preeminent multifamily companies in the nation. AMLI Flagler Village is a 218-unit, seven-story luxury rental community with large spacious apartment homes that feature numerous amenities including direct access for residences to the parking garage.

AMLI wanted upgraded parking garage lighting to reduce their lighting energy costs, maintenance time and carbon footprint, and to improve on the existing lighting conditions. They contacted Mark Anderson, Value Energy Solutions Regional Manager, to learn more about their energy savings options. Value Energy Solutions thoroughly reviewed the existing parking garage lighting and AMLI's energy saving goals. Originally, the parking garage lighting was the less energy efficient 175 watt Metal Halide Lights. Value Energy Solutions recommended retrofitting the parking garage with 115 T5 Fluorescent lights. The T5 fluorescent lighting was selected because they are most energy efficient lighting technology in the fluorescent lighting industry for the cost.

About AMLI Residential: -AMLI is focused on the development, construction and management of luxury apartment communities throughout the U.S. Founded in 1980, AMLI is wholly-owned by Prime Property Fund, a core, co-mingled institutional fund managed by Morgan Stanley Real Estate.
