FEDERAL WAY, WA, July 18, 2012 (Press-News.org) Dr. Braden C. Stridde of Puget Sound Plastic Surgery has introduced a unique and effective procedure for the treatment of cellulite. In addition to offering his patients near Seattle liposuction and other body contouring treatments, he is the first surgeon in the region to offer Cellulaze, an effective and long lasting treatment for removal of cellulite in a single treatment.
Often, despite regular exercise and a healthy diet, cellulite can keep people from feeling truly confident when bathing season comes around," Dr. Stridde says. "Cellulaze uses a new, FDA approved laser energy device to treat the structural causes of cellulite.
"During treatment, one or two tiny incisions are made just outside the treatment area to allow the surgeon to insert a thin tube known as a cannula. The cannula contains a laser fiber that delivers laser energy to the fat layer and fibrous bands of connective tissue below the skin surface. The laser beam is used to smooth out the underlying fat layer, along with dividing the fibrous bands which connect the skin to the underlying muscle. The bands are what pull skin down, creating a dimpled appearance on the skin's surface."
Finally, the Cellulaze laser beam is directed up towards the undersurface of the skin. The laser energy stimulates collagen production, so treatment areas will look smoother and more contoured. The results continue to improve for up to 12 months, as collagen deposition increases the skin's thickness and elasticity.
"Patients at my plastic surgery practice in the Seattle area appreciate procedures that have minimal downtime," Dr. Stridde says. "Cellulaze patients are able to return home the same day as treatment, and are able to return to work or usual daily activities within a few days. Only one treatment session is required in order to see significant benefit."
Dr. Stridde is committed to providing the latest techniques for cosmetic enhancement. He offers patients treatment options that he believes are the most effective solutions for specific concerns. In addition, he frequently combines procedures to help achieve more dramatic results that will help patients look and feel their best.
"Seattle Cellulaze treatment is a completely new and truly effective way to address the frustrating problem of cellulite. It is the only FDA approved device for the long term reduction of cellulite in a single treatment.
At Puget Sound Plastic Surgery, Braden Stridde, M.D., performs a wide range of today's most advanced cosmetic and reconstructive surgical procedures. Dr. Stridde is founder and medical director of the practice, which has been helping Seattle area women and men look their best since 1993. He received his medical degree from Northwestern University in Chicago and continued his surgical training at multiple prestigious institutions from San Francisco to Scotland and from Dartmouth Medical School to the University of Washington. Dr. Stridde is certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
