But electronic drum sets are not the same as acoustic, just like an acoustic guitar is not the same as an electric. The basic skill set is the same, but there is a world of difference in how the two are expertly played and can be played.
The first page of the website is the introduction to the in-site blog which provides the real meat of the site. We discusses new products like the latest Roland electric drum set and Yamaha electric drum set as well as how to buy a used set of electronic drums.
As a drummer myself, and a real fan of electronic drums, I've learned a lot about these instruments. Just like any other musical instrument, all electric drum sets are not created equal.
In creating the website and blog, I wanted to help beginners avoid mistakes like the ones I made. I also hope to provide veterans with quality information about new equipment for the instruments.
All drummers have a learning curve. If you are a beginning drummer and you have good equipment and good information to start with, it will be an easier climb than if you have bad info and bad gear.
Veteran drummers are always on the lookout for new tips and techniques. They are also very interested in new technology and how it can affect their music.
Music is life and life must grow. If I had to give one piece of advice to any beginning musician no matter what they play, I'd have to say never quit learning. Always experiment and try new things. This is the only way you'll grow the music and grow your life.
