LONDON, ENGLAND, July 20, 2012 (Press-News.org) Tamsin Greig is set to reprise her role in Jumpy when the acclaimed comedy by April De Angelis returns to the London stage next month.

The actress, known for appearing in popular TV sitcoms such as Green Wing and Episodes, was widely praised by critics during the play's initial run at the Royal Court Theatre last year.

Greig stars as Hilary, a middle-class mother struggling to control her increasingly promiscuous teenage daughter and keep the passion in her marriage alive.

To make matters worse, the 50-year-old finds herself coming into conflict with the hostile mother of her daughter's boyfriend and must also fend off the unwelcome advances of her new adversary's husband.

Jumpy, which is directed by Nina Raine, will open at The Duke of York's Theatre on Thursday August 16th and run until Saturday November 3rd.

Evening performances are due to begin at 19:30 BST, while matinee shows will take place at 14:30 BST on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Tickets are available from GBP67.
