Burlington singer/songwriter Melissa Bel to perform her new CD release title track, "Distance" at this year's Honey Jam Showcase in Toronto.

FrostByte Media Inc.—is delighted to have Burlington singer/songwriter Melissa Bel selected as a feature artist at this year's Honey Jam Showcase in Toronto. Melissa will be performing her new CD release title track, "Distance" at the The Mod Club in Toronto on August 16th.

As part of the showcase the featured artists were encouraged to put together a short promotional video regarding themselves, the showcase and their song selection. The video is to be posted on YouTube with the artist encouraging supporters to view it via Twitter and other social media avenues. The artists with high numbers of views and re-tweets of their video will be in the running to win a trip to perform at a showcase in Barbados.

The Honey Jam, now in their 17th year, are stellar showcases of homegrown talent. Hundreds of artists have played for capacity crowds including their most famous alum Nelly Furtado as well as Jully Black, Anjulie, Kellylee Evans, Reema Major and many more.

Melissa is currently on her way to Montreal for a performance at Le Petit Campus Thursday July 19th further promoting her new CD release, "Distance" with doors opening at 7pm.
